Writers’ Tag Continues…

The sadistic game of writers tag continues and the instructions are ‘Take 7 lines from page 7 or page 77 from my manuscript and post them’. I am also now supposed to tag seven other authors.
My writers being Mogg Morgan, Josephine McCarthy, Mark John Ramsden, Spencer Kansa,Jack Barrow,Matthew Levi Stevens and John Power. Sorry about that folks but remember…its always your choice whether you play!
‘We were paid to vacate the Sloane Square residence by its owners, and by the time we needed to move out David had reappeared with his potent bunch of keys.
We then moved to another empty boarding house in Earls Court and once more David took over the basement, which he converted into a nightclub.
I was David’s ‘mirror girl’ who is akin to an usher in an old fashioned movie house selling ice-creams and sweets, except my wares were a mirror, inhalation tubes and drugs (speed to the left, coke to the right).
I discovered that our insane saviour had a doctor who would write him scripts for anything, so I utilised the knowledge of pharmaceuticals I had acquired in New Zealand, and would write David drug shopping lists, which he would obtain for me, free, and with needles.
David’s ‘office’ was equipped with a large desk, behind which he hung an array of underwear belonging to females that he had slept with, and from where he would supervise various debauches.
One day I was woken up by a commotion outside the front door, and went out to see Monika being held by her dreadlocks and having her head bashed against railings by an veiled Arabic woman, who was accompanied by her two children and husband.
They were the owners of the building.
We were eventually driven out of this squat, in a more violent and less civilised manner than the Sloane Square one, and after a brief time sitting on mounds of our possessions on the footpath, moved into a squat in a housing estate in Fulham Broadway
